Idea
Since our property is facing the riverbank and the culture island located behind, the intend is to cultivate the entire trade fair area scenically attractive. Architecture and landscape are going to be tightly interwoven, thereby enabling a year-around attractive utilization.

Design Principle
The trade fair centre could be described as an economical engine, consciously relating to the existing natural resources within the entire region. The leitmotif for this trade fair complex is derived from the mining industry. The typical stacked composition of a coal bed is going to be integrated into the design, causing the whole complex to appear like a giant mineral.
